PORTSMOUTH, Va. — This one just moved into our yard.

Have not yet worked up the nerve to seek rent.

She — fairly sure she’s a she, due to her size — is an orb weaver of some kind, and she has a pal who moved into our front porch around the same time.

There are still plenty of mosquitos around, but they seem a bit less mouthy.
